Data protection notice:
The user is responsible for adhering to the valid regulations for the respective market and the further local, legal requirements and provisions when handling personal data.
In particular, data from erWin must not be processed if there is no order for the vehicle.
When making inputs in free text fields, you must make sure that no personal data is entered.
Personal data refers to all information which relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (affected party).
Personal data includes, e.g. any data relating to motor vehicle use which is linked to a VIN/motor vehicle registration number, and
- is relevant in the context of workshop repairs, guarantee or warranty services or product liability, or must be available for safe operation of the vehicle.
- Comfort settings affect, e.g. seat adjustment, preferred radio station, air conditioning setting, navigation data, e-mail/SMS contact details etc.
Use of technical information
Any dissemination, distribution or reproduction, as well as any improper use and/or use not serving interoperability, is prohibited. Exception: Reproductions/print outs for internal company use are permitted without requiring written approval of the copyright holder, as long as they are for internal company purposes. Here the meaning of ’internal company use’ is use within the company with the identical service number. Exception: Printouts of maintenance tables, working hours and measurement protocols may be passed on to customers. Please observe the warning notices.
